Orton-Gillingham or Stern math tutoring
The Orton-Gillingham Approach is a direct, explicit, multisensory, structured, sequential, diagnostic, and prescriptive way to teach literacy when reading, writing, and spelling does not come easily to individuals, such as those with dyslexia.
Stern Math is a hands-on, multisensory approach to learning, where students actively discover math concepts and number patterns. Using colorful blocks representing the numbers one to ten, students begin to make connections from the concrete materials to the abstract representations through interactive lessons and engaging games.

Jessica is an incredible CALT. My 9 year old son was able to "fake" read fairly well thanks to his good memory and skills of deduction. Despite fooling other educators, my husband and I knew he was still struggling. Mrs. Jessica saw right through him, determinedly coaxing out his weaknesses and deficits in order to address them head on. Jessica takes the time to get to know each child she works with, and I appreciate her wealth of personal knowledge about dyslexia and ADHD. My son loves working with her which is a lot to be said for a kid that hates hard work! I cannot recommend her services enough.

Jessica has been a pillar of support for the dyslexic/neurodivergent learning community for nearly a decade. She was influential in securing early interventions for my neurodivergent child. My daughter loved going to her Alphabetic Phonics sessions and formed an endearing bond with Jessica. If you need any type of support for children who learn differently, you can count on her to advocate for your child with confidence, dignity, and compassion.

Jessica has been an amazing asset in our educational journey. She has taught my son Alphabetic Phonics for the last 3 years. She has taught him more than AP though, she has guided him in embracing who he is as a person. Jesica looks at the whole child not just their struggles! Jessica has also helped guide me through my 8th grade son's IEP process. She knows 1st hand how stressful the process can be. She has helped guide and teach me what to ask for in order for my son to be set up for success in school. Jessica is an amazing advocate and words cannot express how grateful I am to have her on my team!
